That’s it, I confess. It’s been a fairly interesting spring….no wait, let me back up….it’s been a very interesting 2011. Life is just chugging along on the Serendipity front fine and dandy but on the personal side….well, everything is getting a nice huge shakeup. I stopped posting to the blog right about the same time I found out someone specific was reading my blog. I was surprised to find that out, I didn’t think they did. Suffice it to say, I haven’t added anything since then. But it’s time to move past that and other things that are holding me up.
Spring was completely fabulous with all sorts of terrific high school seniors that honored me with choosing Serendipity for their senior portraits. Such a great group of young adults came thru my studio! And the guys!! Can I just say, I haven’t had such an AWESOME group of guys come thru my studio before? Sure, I have great ones here and there (I photograph more girls than guys on a regular basis), but really….every single young man that I was blessed with photographing was truly a fantastic person that I was just overjoyed in meeting and learning about. But I must say, with this incredibly busy spring, I faced the choice of either doing a LOT of things kind of mediocre or just a couple things really really WELL. I chose a couple things done well.
One of them was the photography sessions of all my wonderful clients this spring. Hahaha….and instead of being mediocre on the blog, well, I totally dropped that ball so I could concentrate on the sessions. My apologies!
I am completely excited by the coming summer (omg, did I just say summer? That means temps above 70!) and everything that has possibility now. Here’s to a fabulous second half of 2011!!!
